Profile Account terms and conditions
Effective: 13 March 2018
1.1 This Profile Account is owned and operated by Scandinavian Airlines System Denmark- Norway-Sweden, a consortium established under the laws of Denmark, Norway and Sweden, and having its principle office at Frösundaviks allé 1, SE-195 87 Stockholm, Sweden, (hereafter “SAS”, “Us” or “We”).
1.2 Please read through and familiarize yourself with these Profile Account Terms and Conditions (“Profile Account Terms and Conditions”) before creating a personal profile account on our website (“Profile Account”). Opening a Profile Account is open to all natural persons from 16 years and older.
1.3 If you do not agree to these Profile Account Terms and Conditions, you are not allowed to, and agree not to, set up an account.
1.4 These Profile Account Terms and Conditions refer only to your use of this Profile Account. Separate conditions apply to airline carriage, membership in the EuroBonus program or any promotions which SAS may have from time to time. If you purchase a flight ticket for a flight operated by SAS, our General Terms and Conditions and Conditions of Carriage apply to the purchase and flight, respectively.
1.5 SAS is to be notified in writing of changes or additions to your personal data that is not possible for you to change/add yourself in your Profile Account online. Upon change of name or registering of date of birth, documentation must be attached confirming the information, e.g. by copy of a valid passport. As soon as the new information has been verified, the documentation submitted will be destroyed. Please observe that when you book a flight ticket while you are logged in, your credentials at the time will be applied to the ticket. Any changes in the personal profile in your account will not be reflected in flight tickets booked before profile changes.
1.7 Your personal login details and booking information (e.g. booking reference) are your personal responsibility. If you have reason to believe that your account is no longer secure, you must change your log in credentials immediately.

2.1 In order to fulfil these Profile Account Terms and Conditions, holding a Profile Account requires us to process your personal data. In other words, as a Profile Account holder, it is necessary for us to process information that relates to you as a person.
2.2 The personal data in question is information that you yourself have provided us with, e.g. your name, age and address. We process this data for different purposes relating to the performance of the present Profile Account Terms and Conditions, such as managing your account and travels.
2.3 Scandinavian Airlines System Denmark- Norway-Sweden, a consortium established under the laws of Denmark, Norway and Sweden, and having its principle office at Frösundaviks allé 1, SE-195 87 Stockholm, Sweden, is the data controller and legal person which will determine the purposes and means of the processing of your personal data.
3.1 Except as provided for in any applicable mandatory law, SAS has no responsibility and shall not be liable for any cost or other damage incurred by you except as expressly stated in these Profile Account Terms and Conditions. Further, SAS is not liable for any cost or damage incurred by anyone else than you.
3.2 We are responsible only for the part that involves the SAS flight itself, in accordance with SAS conditions of carriage and applicable service terms. All arrangements, benefits and services in addition to the SAS flight are beyond the responsibility of SAS.
3.3 Legal guardians of account users under the age of 18 years are responsible for ensuring that the minors adhere to these Profile Account Terms and Conditions. Legal guardians are also responsible for minors’ use of trips, offers and benefits.
3.4 You can at any time terminate your Profile Account. Please refer to our contact details at flysas.com to do so. After termination of the account, SAS will delete and stop processing your personal data, save for such information that SAS has a legitimate interest in or legal or contractual obligation to retain and process. You will not be able to use your account after it has been terminated.
3.5 We reserve the right to terminate your account in cases which we deem constitute misuse. You will not be able to use your account after it has been terminated.
3.6 Misuse may consist of unsuitable or disrespectful behavior towards us or our business partners, our employees or passengers, violation of these Profile Account Terms and Conditions, illegal conduct, fraud or actions that are generally regarded as immoral or unethical.
3.8 You may not, wholly or partly, assign or otherwise dispose of your rights and/or obligations under these Profile Account Terms and Conditions without our prior written consent. Similarly, we may not assign or otherwise dispose of our rights and/or obligations under these Profile Account Terms and Conditions without your consent. This notwithstanding, we may assign our rights and obligations under these Profile Account Terms and Conditions without your approval to i) any affiliate of SAS or ii) an entity which acquires all or substantially all of the assets related to the Profile Account.
4.1 To the extent permissible by local law or regulation, these Profile Account Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Swedish law. You and SAS submit, to the extent permitted by local law or regulation, to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the district court of Stockholm to resolve any dispute that may arise out of these Profile Account Terms and Conditions.
4.2 Any provision of these Profile Account Terms and Conditions declared void or unenforceable by any competent authority or court shall, to the extent of such invalidity or unenforceability, be deemed severable and shall not affect the other provisions remaining, which shall continue unaffected.
