If you don't receive your checked bag when you arrive, report it as soon as possible so we can help locate your bag and get it to you as quickly as we can. You can report delayed baggage at the airport or online.
You can file a delayed baggage report online within 72 hours of your flight’s arrival.
If more than 72 hours have passed since your arrival, please call our arrival service within 7 days.
Once you’ve filed a report, you can track the status of your bag.

Am I entitled to compensation if my baggage is delayed?
If your baggage is delayed for more than 24 hours while you are away from home, you may be reimbursed for reasonable expenses, such as toiletries or other essentials. Make sure to keep receipts for all purchases and file a claim within 21 days of receiving your baggage.
If your baggage is delayed on your trip home, you won't be reimbursed for essentials. In this case, check what your home or travel insurance policy may cover.
If your baggage is not found within 21 days, it will be considered lost. In this case, you may be entitled to compensation for the value of your lost baggage up to a maximum liability (as regulated in the Montreal Convention).

How do I apply for compensation?
The fastest way to apply for compensation is to file a claim online. Remember that you'll need supporting documents such as receipts for any purchases you made due to the delay, flight details, etc.
What is a PIR number?
A PIR (property irregularity report) number is a 10-character reference number such as ARNSK12345. You'll get a PIR number when you report delayed baggage to track the status of your baggage. You also need your PIR number to file a claim for compensation.
What if my bag was delayed on another airline’s flight?
If your baggage was delayed or lost on a flight operated by another airline, contact the airline for help. This also applies if you were traveling on an SAS ticket, but were rerouted on a flight with another airline.
