SAS Flexible booking

Flexibility is important for travelers, especially now that traveling is more challenging than usual. We have introduced more flexible rebooking options so that you can travel now or later.

With our 24-hour money-back guarantee and our flexible tickets on international trips you can easily rebook – or cancel your trip completely and receive a SAS Travel Voucher – up until 72 hours before departure. For domestic trips in Scandinavia, we offer free rebooking up until one hour before departure in SAS Go Flex. SAS Plus tickets are both re-bookable and refundable. Below you find more information about the different flexible solutions.


Book a business trip?

Log in to your SAS profile and click on your profile icon (top right) and choose Corporate. You can now book your business trips and your discounted fares will be shown in the flight list.

Our flexible booking options

  • Cancel or rebook your ticket within 72h before departure

    You can rebook you trip with SAS free of charge, or cancel your trip and get a SAS Travel Voucher – up until 72 hours before departure. This offer applies for all international travel.

    Within 72 hours from departure ordinary ticket rules apply. 

    For domestic travel within Sweden, Norway or Denmark we offer rebooking free of charge until 1 hour before departure if you book your ticket in SAS Go Flex.

    If you no longer wish to travel right now, all tickets can be changed for a SAS Travel Voucher. The voucher offers you the possibility to rebook later, since it is valid as payment for 1 year.

    In My Bookings you can apply for and find all details about your voucher. Here you can find the full terms and conditions.

    The SAS Travel Voucher:

    • cl--check Can be used by you or another traveler
    • cl--check Is valid for trips to any SAS destination
    • cl--check Is valid to use as payment within 1 year after the date of issue
    • cl--check Can be used via SAS's website or SAS Customer Service
    • cl--check Can be used as full or partial payment for a new trip and any remaining value will remain on the voucher until it expires
    • cl--check Is non-refundable
    • cl--check Domestic flights cannot be canceled for a voucher
  • SAS Plus offers benefits and flexibility

    SAS Plus tickets are both rebookable and refundable. This applies to both domestic and international travel.

    If you book a ticket in SAS Plus or SAS Business, you also enjoy even more benefits, such as choosing your seat, extra checked baggage, free WiFi onboard, more EuroBonus points, access to SAS Lounge and Fast Track.

  • Flexibility with SAS Bonus tickets

    You can always rebook or cancel a SAS Bonus trip up to 24 hours before departure.

    Bonus tickets are SAS' most popular and high-value offer to EuroBonus members. On most SAS flights, we reserve a certain number of bonus seats that you can book using your points.

    If you cancel your SAS Bonus trip, the points and taxes and fees you paid will be refunded (as long as the points have not expired). If you rebook your trip, the price at the time of rebooking will apply. You can read more about SAS Bonus tickets here.

    SAS Bonus tickets have a fixed price, are paid 100% with points, and are marked with a golden dot in the booking flow.

24-hour money-back guarantee

If you booked your trip through SAS your ticket is always refundable within 24 hours of purchase, regardless of ticket type. If you booked your trip less than 24 hours before departure, the ticket is refundable up until 12 hours before departure. Our 24-hour money-back guarantee applies to tickets booked directly on SAS website, SAS App or through Customer Service.
