Your child's baggage allowance depends on the age of your child, their ticket type or EuroBonus membership level. If you need to bring a car seat and/or a stroller for your child, this is included in their ticket.

How much baggage can my infant bring?
When you travel with an infant (0–2 years), you may check in:
1 bag up to 23 kg (except Light ticket)
1 fully collapsible buggy or stroller
1 child safety seat
Please note that infants may not bring a carry-on.

Children aged 2–11 years may bring carry-on and checked baggage according to their ticket type. They may also check in, free of charge:
1 stroller (max 23 kg)
1 child safety seat
How do I travel with a stroller or child safety seat?
You may check in 1 stroller or buggy and 1 child safety seat in addition to your checked baggage allowance.
Strollers/buggies may weigh up to 23 kg
Two-piece strollers/buggies must be packed separately
Strollers/buggies and child safety seats must be packed in a plastic bag or hard protective case. No other items may be packed in the same bag or case.
Plastic bags are sold at most airports.
If you’d like to use a child safety seat on board for a child under 2, contact SAS Customer Service to book an extra seat. Children aged 2 and above may use a child safety seat in their seats on board.
Can I bring a compact or umbrella stroller into the cabin?
If you're traveling with an infant or a child age 2 to 11, you can bring a compact or umbrella stroller in the cabin.
To be allowed in the cabin, the stroller must be collapsible and fit within these size limits:
Compact stroller: max 55 x 40 x 23 cm
Umbrella stroller: max 20 x 20 x 100 cm
This also applies to strollers classified as carry-on baggage according to IATA standards.
If your stroller exceeds the permitted dimensions, it must be checked in.
If your ticket does not include a carry-on bag, the stroller can be checked in free of charge.
Please note that some airports require strollers to be checked in before security screening. In these cases, you won’t be able to use the stroller all the way to the gate. At some airports you can borrow a stroller for use at the airport. Contact the airport staff for information.
Important for Embraer E195 flights
Only umbrella strollers are allowed in the cabin on Embraer E195 aircraft.
Compact strollers are NOT allowed in the cabin on Embraer E195 flights, even if they meet normal carry-on size limits. They must be checked in.
You can usually see the aircraft type when you book your ticket. Otherwise, you’ll see what type of aircraft you’re traveling on in the SAS app before departure.
