As a resident of Gotland you will be able to book trips within Sweden with SAS at a discount. To make a booking with the Gotland discount, follow the instruction below.
Always carry valid identification (physical ID card or passport) when traveling. SAS reserves the right to conduct random ID checks at boarding to ensure that passengers are registered residents of Gotland at the time of travel.

What is the Gotland discount?
The Gotland Discount is a government-funded support scheme that entitles people registered as residents of Gotland to discounted travel to and from the island during the period 1 July to 31 December 2026. For air travel, the discount amounts to SEK 500 per one-way trip.
Who is eligible for the discount?
Only individuals who are registered as residents of Gotland are eligible for the discount.
To receive the discount, the trip must be booked through this page: sas.se/kampanj/gotlandsrabatten. SAS verifies travelers’ personal identity numbers against the Swedish State Personal Address Register (SPAR) to ensure that all passengers meet the residency requirement of being registered as residents of Gotland.
How much is the discount?
The Gotland discount amounts to:
SEK 500 per one-way trip
SEK 1000 per round trip
When booking through sas.se/kampanj/gotlandsrabatten, the discount is applied automatically. All prices displayed are already discounted.
Which trips are covered by the discount?
The discount applies to all domestic flights that either depart from or arrive at Visby Airport (VBY).
This means that the discount can be used for travel between Visby and any destination within SAS’s Swedish domestic route network, from Malmö in the south to Kiruna in the north.
During which period is the discount valid?
The discount applies to travel taking place between 1 July 2026 and 31 December 2026. Flights must be completed within this period to be eligible for the discount.
Can I receive the discount for a ticket that has already been booked?
The discount cannot be applied retroactively to tickets issued before 15 July 2026.
If your trip was booked before 15 July 2026 and meets the eligibility requirements for the Gotland Discount, SAS offers free cancellation with a full refund. To cancel your booking, please contact SAS Customer Service by phone.
Once the booking has been canceled, you may make a new booking with the Gotland Discount through sas.se/kampanj/gotlandsrabatten, provided that all eligibility requirements for the discount are met.
