Terms & conditions for award flights

Using EuroBonus points for award flights

  • Pay the full fare in points and taxes/fees by card.

  • Point prices are fixed by destination and travel class.

  • Taxes and fees vary by trip and are added at booking.

  • Award seats are limited and released up to 330 days before departure.

  • Children age 2–11 pay 50% in points, under 2 fly free (taxes still apply).

  • You can mix award and regular tickets in the same booking.

  • Amex 2-for-1 and Mastercard Fly Premium apply. Can only be used when you book, and not on flights already booked.

  • Stopovers over 24h are allowed only on SAS flights to/from Asia or North America (one each way).

  • Cancel/rebook up to 1h before departure if points are valid (fee applies). Valid points will be credited to your EuroBonus account.

  • Cancellation/rebooking fees for domestic and European flights: 25 EUR/250 SEK/250 NOK/175 DKK/25 USD/32 CAD.

  • Cancellation/rebooking fees for flights to/from Asia and North America: 75 EUR/750 SEK/750 NOK/525 DKK/75 USD/96 CAD.

  • When you combine an SAS award ticket with a regular ticket for points, regular fare rules apply for rebooking/cancellation.

  • SAS may change points and fare rules at any time.

  • You don’t earn EuroBonus points or qualifying flights on award trips.
