What happens after I signed up?
We will process your sign-up, and as we’re expecting high volumes this will take a few days. You can check your status in the SAS App. If you are confirmed, you will receive an email. You will then have 24 hours to accept or cancel your spot in the app. Once you have accepted, you're on your way.
How do you select travelers?
The booking process for Destination Unknown is handled differently compared to a regular trip. This is because the seats are very limited, and we want to give everyone a chance to join. That’s why you’re signing up your interest to join, and not a guaranteed seat right away. The selection will be done randomly, but if you sign up for an additional traveler, we will make sure to take that into consideration and make sure both or neither of you are confirmed.
Is there an age limit?
The age limit is 18 years.
How do I know if I've been confirmed?
If you have been confirmed, you will be notified via email. You can also visit the SAS App to check your status at any time.
I have been waitlisted. What does it mean?
We have received a high volume of sign-ups, and since there’s only one flight going to the unknown destination, there are limited seats available. However spots can open up if someone else cancels. That means that there’s a possibility of being confirmed if you’re waitlisted. If you're confirmed, you will receive an email – but you can always check your status in the SAS App.
Will I be notified if I’m waitlisted?
No. You will only be notified via email if you’re confirmed. You can check your status in the SAS App at any time.
Can I remove myself from the waitlist?
No. However, if your status gets changed to confirmed you will have 24 hours to accept or cancel your spot. You will be notified via email if you’re confirmed.
I have been confirmed, what happens now?
If you have been confirmed, you have 24 hours to accept or cancel your spot in the SAS App. Once this is done, you are on your way.
