Award tickets
There are a number of seats on every SAS flight that you can book as award flights using EuroBonus points. Prices depend on your destination and travel class, and you'll need to pay taxes and fees when you book.
Terms & conditions
SAS award flights give you the most value for your points when you travel with SAS and Widerøe.
You pay the entire ticket price with points.
The point price is fixed and depends on the destination and class of travel.
Taxes and fees of airports and authorities are not included and must be paid by credit or debit card. They vary depending on your trip and are calculated at the time of booking.
The number of award seats per flight is limited. SAS makes seats available regularly, as early as 330 days before departure
Children aged 2-11 years old receive a 50% discount on the point price. Children under two years old receive a 100% discount. There is no discount on taxes or fees.
You can combine SAS award tickets with regular tickets for points in the same booking.
You can use an Amex 2-for-1 voucher or Mastercard Fly Premium.
Stopovers lasting longer than 24 hours are not permitted, except for SK operated intercontinental flights. On SAS Intercontinental routes one stopover is permitted on the outbound journey and one on the inbound journey. The entire trip must be on SK operated flights. These stopovers can be added by calling Customer Service.
Cancel your trip for a fee up to one hour before departure. All valid points will be returned to your EuroBonus account.
Reschedule for a fee up to one hour before departure, provided your points have not expired.
Cancellations and rebookings can be done both online and by contacting SAS Customer Service. Fees below apply both for online and phone service.
The fee for cancellation/rebooking of domestic flights and flights within Europe is 25 EUR.
The fee for cancellation/rebooking of flights to/from Asia and North America is 75 EUR.
When you combine a SAS award ticket with a regular ticket for points, the fare rules for the regular ticket apply when you cancel/rebook the entire booking.
Our Customer Service team can assist members with adding connecting flights (including flights in a different cabin class) to existing award bookings. Connecting flights are flight segments from the Nordics to one of our connecting hubs (CPH, OSL, ARN). Eg CPH- EWR (additional flight UME-ARN) is considered a connecting flight, as it is from a Nordic country to a connecting hub. Adding a connecting flight costs 15 EUR/150 SEK/150 NOK/100 DKK/15 USD/25 CAD per person.
Contact SAS Customer Service for information/book a return from another airport.
You do not earn EuroBonus points on SAS award flights.
SAS reserves the right to change point prices and ticket price rules.
