Visit the castles and ruins of the Eisch Valley while you´re in Luxembourg – also called the Valley of the seven castles. The valley got its name from the seven castles in the area: Mersch, Schoenfels, Hollenfels, Ansembourg Castle, New castle of Ansembourg, Septfontaines and Koerich Castle. Some of the castles can be visited, some only seen from the outside.

The castles can be seen by doing a road trip in the 24-kilometer area – but you can also choose to go for a hike in the beautiful landscape, following a 37-kilometer trail.
