SAS Youth tickets are available for ages 12–25. Travelers on youth tickets must be able to prove their age with a valid ID. Travelers who cannot show a valid ID may be denied boarding. In that case SAS has the right to cancel the trip and the traveler may face criminal charges.
Booking
The availability of seats is limited, and seats are only available in specific booking classes (V-class/O-class). You can book Youth tickets online, via Customer Service, or your travel agent. If you book through our customer service, there’s a fee of 375 DKK, 375 NOK, 375 SEK, 30 EUR, 27 GBP, 25 USD per person/trip.

As with all other SAS tickets, you have up to 24 hours after booking to cancel and receive a full refund.
Pay in installments
If you’re over 18, you can choose to pay for your trip in installments through Klarna (in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Germany and the Netherlands).
Rebooking
In some cases, you can change the time and date of your trip (but not the destination) for a fee:
- Domestic flights: 350 DKK/ 350 NOK/350. SEK.
- European flights: 45 EUR .
- Flights to Asia and the US: 70 EUR
- Flights from Asia and the US to Scandinavia: 125 USD.
Rebooking is subject to availability and fees are per flight and person. If you rebook your trip at a higher price, you’ll also need to pay the difference between the original price and the new price.
Children
Children, age 2–11 years, traveling with another person age 16 years or older who is traveling on a SAS Youth ticket, can also book SAS Youth tickets. Unaccompanied minors cannot travel on SAS Youth tickets. To book, contact Customer Service.
