Terms & conditions for award flights
Using EuroBonus points for award flights
Pay the full fare in points and taxes/fees by card.
Point prices are fixed by destination and travel class.
Taxes and fees vary by trip and are added at booking.
Award seats are limited and released up to 330 days before departure.
Children age 2–11 pay 50% in points, under 2 fly free (taxes still apply).
You can mix award and regular tickets in the same booking.
Amex 2-for-1 and Mastercard Fly Premium apply. Can only be used when you book, and not on flights already booked.
Stopovers over 24h are allowed only on SAS flights to/from Asia or North America (one each way).
Cancel/rebook up to 1h before departure if points are valid (fee applies). Valid points will be credited to your EuroBonus account.
Cancellation/rebooking fees for domestic and European flights: 25 EUR/250 SEK/250 NOK/175 DKK/25 USD/32 CAD.
Cancellation/rebooking fees for flights to/from Asia and North America: 75 EUR/750 SEK/750 NOK/525 DKK/75 USD/96 CAD.
When you combine an SAS award ticket with a regular ticket for points, regular fare rules apply for rebooking/cancellation.
SAS may change points and fare rules at any time.
You don’t earn EuroBonus points or qualifying flights on award trips.
