How Points + Cash works
With Points + Cash, you can use your EuroBonus points to pay for part or all of a regular SAS ticket. The first 1000 points used are always worth 100 SEK and you can start using points from as little as 200 points. After the first 1000 points, the conversion varies depending on your destination. The more points you use, the more cash you save.

How to book
You can book flights using EuroBonus points in two different ways. To use either option, you need to be logged in to your EuroBonus account.
If you choose Pay with points, you can search for flights that can be paid entirely with EuroBonus points, including regular tickets for points and, subject to availability, SAS award tickets.
If you don't choose Pay with points, you can still use EuroBonus points to pay for part of the ticket price or, where available, the entire ticket price. Select Points + Cash after choosing your flights or in the Review & Pay step.
The main difference is where you access the options in the booking flow, rather than the ticket itself.
Note: Some taxes and fees may still need to be paid with money. Travel extras cannot be paid with EuroBonus points.
Common questions
What is the minimum number of points I can use with Points + Cash?
The minimum number of points available depends on the ticket price.
For some lower-priced tickets, you may be able to start using Points + Cash from as little as 200 points. For higher-priced tickets, the minimum number of points available may be higher.
The available points options are automatically calculated based on the ticket price.
Example: A lower-priced domestic flight may allow you to start from 200 points, while a more expensive long-haul ticket may require a higher minimum number of points.
How is the Points + Cash value calculated?
The first 1000 points used are always worth 100 SEK, 100 NOK or 65 DKK. Values in NOK and DKK may vary depending on exchange rate fluctuations.
The Points + Cash conversion ratio is set in SEK and automatically updated to other currencies based on the current exchange rate.
Can I combine award tickets and regular tickets for points in the same booking?
Yes. When booking through Pay with points, your itinerary may include a combination of award tickets and regular tickets for points, depending on availability.
Each flight follows the rules of the ticket type booked. This means baggage allowance, flexibility, rebooking and refund conditions may differ between flights.
Example: You book a Light ticket as a regular ticket for points for your outbound journey and an award ticket for your return journey. The outbound Light ticket follows the benefits and conditions of a Light ticket, while the return award ticket follows award ticket rules.
What baggage allowance applies if I combine award tickets and regular tickets for points?
The baggage allowance depends on the ticket type booked for each flight.
Regular tickets for points follow the rules, benefits and conditions of the selected ticket type, including baggage allowance. Award ticket rules apply to award tickets, including baggage allowance.
Example: You book a Light ticket as a regular ticket for points for your outbound journey and an award ticket for your return journey. The outbound Light ticket does not include checked baggage, while the return award ticket includes checked baggage.
Do children get a discount on regular tickets paid with points?
Yes. Child discounts for regular tickets paid with points follow the same rules as for regular SAS tickets paid with money.

Can I use a SAS Gift Card or SAS Voucher when paying with points?
No. SAS Gift Cards and SAS Vouchers cannot be used together with bookings paid using EuroBonus points, whether you choose Points + Cash or Pay with points.
What happens if I cancel a booking that includes both an award ticket and a regular ticket paid with points?
Each ticket follows the cancellation rules of the ticket type booked.
For example, an Economy Light ticket paid with points is non-refundable, while a SAS award ticket can be refunded except the cancellation fee.
