Travel between Europe and the US from 14 March

  • The US government implements restrictions for all air traffic between Europe and the United States as from 14 March 2020 and 30 days ahead. This will have effect on SAS flights to/from the US. SAS will operate according to normal schedule 12 March and 13 March 2020.

  • Affected passengers will be notified via email and/or SMS.
  • Rebooking options are available on My bookings. However,  rebooking options will be limited as all carriers operating between Europe and the US are forced to considerably reduce or cancel their operation due to the US government restriction.

SAS urge our passengers reviewing the latest entry requirements  before leaving for the airport, even if you’re a citizen or resident of the destination – or if it’s just for a transfer and connecting flight.

More information will follow as soon as available.

SAS call centers are currently receiving a lot of calls, which causes long waiting times. We kindly ask our travelers to first read through the information listed on this page, before calling us. In addition, if your flight isn't due to depart within the next couple of days, then we also kindly ask you to call us when you are closer to departure, rather than now.
Thank you for your understanding.
