There’s nothing more Finnish than sauna – so you should try it while you’re here. There are plenty of private and public saunas around Finland, so grab a towel and prepare to sweat. The steam from the hot rocks in the sauna will make you relax, sweat and cleanse your skin. Make sure to drink lots of fluids. If you get too hot you can either move to a lower level in the sauna, have a shower or take a swim to cool down. There are different kind of saunas, the most common being electric, wood-heated or smoke sauna.
