Why do I have to wear a face mask on board?
Like most other airlines operating globally, we work closely with international authorities and regulators. One of these is EASA – the European Union’s Aviation Safety Agency. SAS has chosen to follow EASA’s recommendations, and one of these is the advice to wear face masks when traveling.
Wearing a face mask is not just for protecting you. By wearing a face mask, you help protect other travelers as well, as face masks blocks others from droplets caused by sneezing or coughing.
We are continuously evaluating the need for wearing face masks onboard.
