How do I keep my member tier?

Due to the situation with the COVID-19, SAS has decided to offer EuroBonus members a 12-month extension of their current membership level.

The extension will be applied automatically to active EuroBonus accounts where the member has achieved current membership level on their own merits, either by earning qualifying points or qualifying flights. It applies to members that have a qualification period with an expiry date between 31 March 2020–31 December 2021.

This means that if you are a Gold member with a qualification period expiry date 30 April 2021, and membership level expiry date 31 July 2021, your Gold membership level will be extended to 31 July 2022.

If you are a Silver, Gold or Diamond member whose qualifying period expires on 31 January or 28 February 2022, with membership level that expires on April 30 or May 31, 2022 you will receive half of the qualifying flights / Status points required to maintain your current level.

Qualifying flight segment: Silver 5, Gold 23, Diamond 45

Status points: Silver 10,000, Gold 22,500, Diamond 45,000

The points will be automatically registered and visible in your member account by latest end of October.

To find your qualification period, log in to your EuroBonus account on SAS' website. You will find your qualification period expiry date under My EuroBonus. In SAS App you will find your qualification period expiry date under the tab Me.
