Can I rebook my bonus trip if points have expired?
Normally, you cannot rebook your bonus trip if your points have expired, but due to the pandemic, we are now offering you that opportunity. The offer is valid for trips with SAS, Wideroe and Star Alliance if the booking meets any of the following criteria:
Flight to/from the US departing November 30, 2021 or earlier.
Flight to/from Asia departing March 31, 2022 or earlier.
You have tested positive for COVID-19 within 24 hours of departure. Valid until March 31, 2022.
Then you can reschedule to a later date or change destination. If the points price is higher or you change the booking class, you pay the difference and any fees that apply.
Above criteria also applies if:
You have an Amex 2f1 voucher in your booking, regardless of whether your voucher has expired or not.
You have rebooked you bonus trip more than once.
For domestic travel, travel to/from Scandinavia/Europe and within Europe, normal rebooking rules apply to your bonus trip if the entry restrictions do not change.
If you can’t show a COVID-19 test result within 24 hours before departure, you cannot rebook.
