A small and fantastic restaurant, with an outdoor terrace overlooking the old harbor. The price, service & food quality are all unbelievably good: you can get a delicious-tasting & innovative five-course tasting menu for only €42. Try their specialty of courgette flower stuffed with a fantastic fish mousse. Call ahead to check if they are open because the owners like to close for a few weeks in July & dates differ. You don't want to miss this place.

No phone, no credit cards & just a few seats. If you wish to have a real & excellent dinner of traditional cuisine niçoise, this is where to go. The place got character just as it's owner who left a much trendier restaurant for the La Merenda. I don't ask why - I'm just happy he did.
