Fly to Montenegro – Climb to the top of Lovćen mountain

1657 meters above sea level you’ll find a mausoleum of one of history’s most important Montenegrins, Petar Petrovic II Njegos. You can visit his tomb by going up a long winding road and 461 steps to the top of Lovćen mountain. Lovćen is the second highest peak of Lovćen National Park. If you’re lucky and the weather is clear you might be able to see the Italian coast from here.

Beach life on the Budva Riviera

The Budva Riviera, in the west of Montenegro, runs 35 kilometers along the Adriatic coast. If you are looking to spend a few days at the beach, or just gazing into the horizon – this is a place for you. The Budva riviera has 12,5 kilometers of beaches, so you’re likely to find one you like.

When you need a break from the beach you can easily walk to Stari Grad, Budva’s old tow, to wander the narrow streets. Stari Grad is located on a small peninsula, a short walk from one of the beaches in Budva.
