  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT UNACCOMPANIED MINORS: If you are a parent or legal guardian for an unaccompanied minor, you must always produce a valid identity document at Check-in regardless of destination. 

    Some American airlines do not accept passengers between 2-15 years of age to travel alone without company of an adult (age 16). Check with your airline before you travel.

Travel within Nordic region and Europe

  • Citizens of the Nordic countries do not need a passport to travel within the Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway (excluding Svalbard) and Iceland. However, it is advisable to travel with a photo ID in case you need to identify yourself.


  • All passengers to Svalbard require a passport for travel.


  • Important  information regarding boarder control at Bergen Airport:
    In connection with 2017 UCI Road World Championships in Bergen, Norway, Norwegian authorities have introduced temporary border control for passengers arriving at BGO Airport from any Schengen or Non-Schengen destination during the period 26AUG17-24SEP17. Passengers travelling to Bergen (BGO) Airport from any destination outside Norway are strongly recommended to bring their passports or National ID.


  • Travel within the Schengen Area. There is no passport control for travel within the Schengen Area. However, we recommend that passengers always carry passports for identification. Click for a list of Schengen countries
     
  • Border controls temporary reinstated in France
    France reinstates temporary border controls for EU and Shengen countries
    Passengers travelling to/from France must bring a valid passport or National ID card. 


  • Latvian and Estonian authorities require passengers traveling between Riga and Tallinn to present a passport or national ID card upon arrival/departure. Separately, passengers traveling from France must present valid photo ID.


  • Travel outside the Schengen Area. If you are traveling to a destination outside the Schengen Area, you will always be asked to present a valid passport at check-in and before boarding your flight. Children must have their own passport stating their nationality even when they are traveling with an adult. When traveling to/from Non-Schengen countries and Denmark, you will also be asked to provide passport number, date of birth etc. when checking in online or at the airport.
