Jogging trackIf you are staying in Georgetownarea of Washington and like todo some exercise, seek out theold canal running parallel to MStreet only one block away onthe south side. Along the canalthere is a dirt road, originallyused by the horses that oncepulled the barges on the canal. The dirt road is closed for carsand superb for jogging orwalking. Run westwards andafter approximately half a mileyou will find yourself intranquil surroundings, withthe canal on one side and woods on the other, stretchingdown to Potomac River. Theroad goes on for miles andis used extensively by localjoggers.Tor, pilot
