Novospasskiy Monastery

Novospasskiy Monastery is
well known as burial-vault of
Romanov's boyar family, about
70 relatives of tsar family and
many noble Russian families are
buried here. The monastery was
one of the richest ones and the
center of Russian Orthodox culture
before Soviet time. The monastery
poses ancient iconostasis (saved
during Soviet by some miracle) and
several wonder-working icons, one
of them cures cancer.
