In October 2018, SAS Dreams arranged a dream trip to Italy where the participants experienced rustic life in Umbria, picked olives and made their own olive oil from one of the thousands of olive trees standing in the surroundings of Castello Monte Vibiano. They enjoyed both home cooking and fine dining, indulged in award winning wines and delicious Bellinis. We stayed in style and luxury for two nights at the Relais & Chateaux Borgo dei Conti Resort in Perugia and the last night at the 5-star boutique hotel, Indigo St. George next to Campo de' Fiori in the city center of Rome.

Wednesday October 10th 2018

 

    - Individual arrival to Copenhagen Airport

    - Visit to the SAS Business Lounge

    - Departure Copenhagen - Rome SK681

    - Arrival at Rome Fiumicino International Airport

    - Transfer to Umbria, commonly known as "the green heart of Italy”

    - Check-in and welcome at Relais & Chateaux Borgo dei Conti Resort

    - Time at own disposal. Relax by the pool or enjoy the hotel SPA and other hotel facilities

    - Transfer to Castello Monte Vibiano, owned by the Fasola family. The castle’s oldest walls were built two centuries before the birth of Christianity

    - Private evening at Castello Monte Vibiano – welcomed by Lorenzo Fasola Bologna

    - Exclusive Caviar and Sturgeon tasting prepared by Ars Italica Calvisius

    - Dinner prepared by one of Italy’s well-known chefs, Alberto Fol from Hotel Danieli in Venezia

    - Transfer back to Relais & Chateaux Borgo dei Conti Resort

 

Thursday October 11th 2018

 

    - Transfer to Marsciano Monte Vibiano Vecchio

    - Eco-tour in open electric cars, driving past the vineyards and olives groves

    - Italian breakfast under the shade of the olive trees

    - Olive picking in the hills surrounding the castle

    - Private tour of the winery with wine tasting

    - Pressing of the freshly picked olives

    - Traditional farmer’s lunch where olive oil will be served straight from the tap

    - Time at own disposal. Relax by the pool or enjoy the hotel SPA and other hotel facilities

    - Transfer to Lake Trasimeno

    - Privat seafood dinner at restaurant Luciano

    - Late night drinks at the hotel

 

Friday October 11th 2018

 

    - Individual breakfast at the hotel

    - Transfer to Rome

    - Exclusive private event at illy, world leader in the premium coffee segment founded in 1933 in Trieste by Francesco Illy and today led by the third generation of the family

    - Individual Check-in at hotel Indigo St. George, Rome

    - Time at own disposal for cultural experience, shopping etc.

    - Stroll through the streets of Rome to Palazzo Taverna

    - Delicious home cooked Italian food magically presented at a private home on one of Palazzo Taverna’s roof top terrace with the most stunning views

    - Stroll back to the hotel

 

Saturday October 13th 2018
