Munich has several great museums. Pinothek Museum of Modern Art is really neat. Together with Pinakothek Alte & Pinakothek Neue, it makes up what is known as the art district. The collections are impressive & so is the building. We also went to see the Science Museum, the world's largest, so be prepared to spend some time there. They have some hands on experiments, which is good if you are traveling with kids.
