If you travel with us often, you probably know us well. But we're always adding new services and solutions to make your experience better and it's smart to stay up to date. Here are a few things that are good to know about traveling on SAS.
Always with SAS
We know that when you travel with us you expect a smooth, comfortable and seamless trip. That’s why there are some things we never compromise on.
Earn EuroBonus points on all flights
It pays to choose SAS. The more you fly, the more EuroBonus points you earn. You earn points when you travel on SAS and our partners as well as on hotels, rental cars and sometimes even when you shop. You can use your points toward award trips, hotels, rental cars and much more. Membership is free and there are no age limits.
Check in free on your phone, online or at our self-service kiosks
Check in 22 hours before departure in the SAS App, on our website or at a SAS Self-Service kiosk. You can also choose your seat, add your EuroBonus number, change your flight and print your boarding pass. And with the SAS App, you can check in and get your boarding pass on your phone. It's easy.
Coffee & tea onboard, newspapers in the SAS App
No matter when or how you’re traveling, we offer free tea and coffee onboard and free newspapers and magazines in our App. Onboard, you’ll also find our lifestyle magazine, Scandinavian Traveler.
No fee when you pay by credit card
When you book your trip on our website, there’s no fee when you pay by credit card.
24-hour money-back guarantee
Book now. Decide later. At SAS, you can always cancel your trip within 24 hours of booking at no charge. And you can always change your flight for a fee. Read more about 24-hour money-back guarantee

We think inflight meals should be one of the highlights of your trip. We change our menu 4 or 5 times a year and always choose locally-produced, organic and sustainable alternatives.
- When you fly to the US and Asia, inflight food and beverages are complimentary no matter what type of ticket you're traveling on.
- On all other flights, we offer food and beverages in SAS Plus
- If you’re traveling in SAS Go Light or SAS Go, we offer free coffee and tea and you can buy food onboard and pay in cash, by credit card or with EuroBonus points

We welcome travelers of all ages. At SAS, infants under 2 travel free or at a 90% discount when sitting on an adult's lap. And children age 2–11 who travel with a person over 16 get up to 25% off.
SAS Youth tickets – travel cheaper if you’re under 26
Under 26 and looking for low-cost, flexible travel within Scandinavia and Europe? Then choose SAS Youth tickets. They also offer lots of other benefits that make your travel easier.
There’s nothing wrong in wanting something more. Something new. Something special. Something quite incredible. That’s why we’ve created SAS Dreams – a tailor-made concept that offers truly unique experiences, for SAS EuroBonus members only. An invitation others can only dream of.
