If your baggage exceeds the permitted weight allowance, you will be charged a flat rate fee. The fee applies per bag and direction and depends on your destination.
The maximum allowed weight for one piece of baggage is 32 kg. Exceptions are special baggage that cannot easily be separated, such as diving equipment or large musical instruments.

Pack smaller fragile and valuable items such as passports, laptops, money, medication, jewelry, cameras and keys in your carry-on. SAS will not replace these items – see our general terms and conditions of carriage for more information.
Larger fragile and valuable items, such as computers, televisions, or other similar items must be sent as cargo.

If you arrive on an international flight and your bag tags show that you will continue your trip on a domestic flight on SAS, your bags will be checked through to your final destination. Custom inspection must take place at first airport in Sweden.
