From the US to Oslo and onwards
SAS flies non-stop from the US to Oslo Airport. Flights depart from New York (Newark). SAS provides convenient connecting flights from Oslo Airport to many other airports in Norway and national and regional airports throughout Europe.
Getting to the city of Oslo
Excellent public transportation provides easy, convenient and quick travel from the airport to downtown Oslo, a 29 mile trip. The Airport Express Train (Flytoget) is the fastest and most frequent connection. The Airport Express Train, departing every 10 minutes, will take you to Oslo Central Station in 19 minutes. Regional and local trains as well as a number of bus companies also operate between the airport, the city of Oslo and many other Norwegian destinations.
Taxis are parked immediately outside the arrivals hall. There is a taxi information counter in the arrivals hall.
Avis, Hertz, Europcar, Budget and Sixt operate at Oslo Airport. The rental car counters are conveniently located in the arrivals hall.
You can exchange US dollars, Norwegian kroner, Euro and other currencies in the bank in the departure hall and the arrivals hall. There are also 18 international ATMs in the airport.
Shopping and dining
Oslo Airport’s duty-free shop is one of the largest in Europe, and there is a good selection of boutiques. Throughout the airport you’ll find restaurants, snack bars, fast-food eateries and bars. For a taste of Norway, head to the Norwegian Aquavit Bar for a unique selection of spirits, or try a shrimp sandwich or a plate of oysters at The Salmon House Seafood Bar.
Free WiFi in Oslo Airport
Oslo Airport provides its travelers free wireless internet access for one hour. For a fee, you’ll get additional minutes.
Two SAS lounges
SAS offers two separate VIP lounges at Oslo Airport. Depending on your EuroBonus membership status and ticket category, you may have access to the SAS Business Lounge and/or the SAS Scandinavian Lounge.

Oslo Airport provides travelers a quiet sitting area at the entrance to the domestic flights terminal.
SAS Fast Track security
SAS Fast Track is available in Oslo Airport for SAS Business and SAS Plus passengers on SAS-operated flights. EuroBonus Gold members traveling on a flight with any Star Alliance member may also fast-track through security in Oslo.

Infants and children at the airport
There are three playgrounds in Oslo Airport, each with an airplane play structure. All wheelchair-accessible restrooms are equipped with baby changing stations.
Need a hand with your suitcases? Oslo Airport’s porter service will, for a fee, transport your luggage between parking/public transportation and check-in. This service requires booking at least 24 hours prior to departure.
Hotels near Oslo
Airport The high-end Radisson Blu Airport Hotel is just a 3-minute walk from the terminal building. Another walkway connects the airport to the comfortable Park Inn Oslo Airport hotel. Both hotels offer meeting and conference facilities. A number of other hotels are located close to the airport; many are served by shuttle buses.
