london heathrow terminal 2 - the queen's terminal

10 September, we’re moving to Star Alliance’s new home at Heathrow – the brand new Terminal 2, also known as The Queen’s Terminal. An upgrade for us, but also for you. This light, spacious building was especially designed to make travel even easier.

6 REASONS YOU’LL BE HAPPY WITH THE UPGRADE TO TERMINAL 2

Faster Check In

Say goodbye to long queues. Check In at Terminal 2 is fast and easy:

- You can directly print your Boarding Pass and Bag Tag at one of the 66 Self Service Kiosks available.

- After using the Self Service Kiosks, passengers in SAS Go travelling with bags can then proceed to the Bag Drop. SAS is located in Zone D1-4.

- Travellers in SAS Plus, and EuroBonus Gold or Diamond card holders, are invited to use the Premium Check In desks located in Zone C11-12.

- It’s worth noting Check In deadline is 45 minutes before scheduled departure for all passengers travelling with SAS and you also must have entered Security 35 minutes before your flight departs.

Faster through security

Before entering Security, you can opt to scan your Boarding Pass yourself. What’s more, premium passengers have access to a minimum of four Fast Track security lanes.
Please note you also must have entered Security 35 minutes before your flight departs.

More lounges

Travellers in SAS Plus, and EuroBonus Gold or Diamond card holders, get exclusive access to two of the terminal’s most luxurious lounges: the Lufthansa Senator Lounge in the main Terminal 2A (opening in October) and the United Airlines Club Lounge in the satellite Terminal 2B.

Free Wi-Fi

There's Wi-Fi available throughout the terminal to help you stay in touch or plan your travels. Just choose _Heathrow Wi-Fi and follow the on-screen instructions. Once you've completed registration you can enjoy your 45 free minutes.

Better choice of shops and restaurants

Shop for quality
From BOSS to Gucci, at The Queen’s Terminal you’ll find one premium brand shop after another. Including the first John Lewis store at an airport.

Try the cuisine of Heston Blumenthal
That’s right! The famous star chef opened up his own place at Terminal 2, along with several other high quality restaurants. Bon appétit!

Faster connections

Moving ‘under one roof’ allows Star Alliance member airlines to better deliver a seamless travel experience. With all Star Alliance member airlines at Heathrow located in the same terminal, connections will be smoother than ever before with a standard minimum connecting time of only 60 minutes.
