Scandinavian Ailrines and four travel agencies in Bangkok are promoting package holidays to Iceland for travel in April and May 2009.

Seven-day packages from 89,900 baht include a trip on snowmobile to glacier and a trip to see the 30m tall Geysir, the original thermal spring from which geysirs got their name.  One of the highlights is a trip to Gillfoss, Iceland's most beautiful waterfall. Guests get to take a dip in Blue Lagoon, a hot spring.

Expert guides accompany all groups. Twin-sharing accommodation is in 4-star hotels. The fully inclusive packages include meals and tours which travel round the whole island. As part of the package, guests fly to Copenhagen, the Danish capital, for a morning's sightseeing. Then they transfer to an Iceland Air flight to Reykjavik.
