On top of a smooth and relaxing flight with SAS, you earn Basic points that can be used for award travel and they also count for upgrade to a higher membership level. The principle is simple, the more you spend the more points you earn. For the cheapest tickets you will earn 25% of the points you earn for a normal Economy ticket. We do have some exceptions unfortunately on all Norwegian domestic routes.
Always quote your EuroBonus membership number when booking flights and show your membership card at check-in. If you make your flight reservation on our homepage, log in first and your membership number & other contact details will be added automatically.
You may exchange your points in all service classes on SAS operated flights, except on charter. Book one-way or roundtrip, it's up to you. On SAS Intercontinental routes stopover is permitted on outbound and on the trip home if you would like to do so. If you like to travel in style, use your points for an upgrade onboard!
Silver and Gold members
Earn additional 25% Basic points if you are a Gold members and 15% if you are a Silver member in all classes on all flights operated by SAS even on Economy discounted classes (Norway domestic routes excluded).
You can also become a Gold member by flying one-way flights in any class on SAS operated flights.
Flights in the range SK3000-SK3999, SK6000-SK9999 are "code-shared" flights and operated by an SAS partner airline. Depending on which airline that is operating these "code-share" flights on behalf of SAS, you'll earn Basic or Extra points and in some rare cases no points.
No points can be earned on SAS unpublished charter flights or if you fly between Copenhagen, Stockholm - Moscow, S:t Petersburg with SAS and have purchased an airline ticket that start with airline designator FV or SU, for example SU1429 Moscow - Stockholm. This flight is operated by SAS (SK731) but no points can be earned. More information, please contact Member Service for more information. If you buy an upgrade at gate for money - still the original class booked applies for point earnings.
Points for cancelled flights
If you are involuntarily re-accommodated from SAS to another airline or other means of transport, you may request your points for your original flight itinerary.
