When do you choose to use your points, to upgrade your ticket?
Usually during a night flight, when I need to sleep properly, for example from the U.S. to Sweden.
What is your view on long-haul flights with SAS?
SAS flights are calm and more peaceful than many U.S. domestic flights. They are often crowded and messy, and there are always fights over luggage space, because people avoid checking in their bags.
You have made yourself comfortable in Business. Who would you like to have in the seat next to you?
I miss my little nieces and nephews, who live in Sweden, so I would love to travel with them! They always have wonderful everyday stories to tell, and their uncomplicated way of looking at life is incredibly refreshing! They also come up with priceless expressions that are worth remembering.
Which is your most memorable airport purchase?
I am always pleased when I have time to shop at Arlanda on my way home to the U.S., around October or November. Then I buy Swedish mulled wine from the Duty Free shop, which I serve during our Advent and Christmas celebrations.
What is there to do on a day off in your hometown, Princeton?
I try to get out in the fresh air as much as possible when I am off. The day will include some sort of physical activity – skiing, running, mountain biking, or golf.
